Privacy

Local by default, explicit when online.

This is an initial privacy summary for the preview website and application direction. A complete notice will be published before release.

Desktop projects

Scripture Mapper is designed to keep project files and research on the user’s computer unless the user deliberately exports, publishes or connects an online service.

Local AI

Local-AI workflows are intended to run on the user’s own computer. Project content is not sent to a remote AI provider by those workflows.

Personal service keys

Private API keys are stored using the operating system’s protected credential storage rather than inside project files, preferences or exports.

This website

The website is delivered through standard hosting and security providers, which may process routine connection information such as IP addresses and request logs. Public analytics, contact forms, payments and user accounts have not yet been introduced.

Future Research API

If accounts or API access are introduced, the service will document the account data, access logs, retention periods and deletion process before launch. Licensed project content will not be silently uploaded to provide the service.

Changes before release

This notice will be expanded with operator identity, contact details, retention periods, legal bases and user rights before the public launch.
